To-Do Lists: How They Changed My Way Of Life

I've always been an inherently unorganised person, with literally every part of my life. I honestly don't know how I've survived so long living like this; my lunches would always be made in the morning before work, I would be late to almost everything and I would forget to bring essential items out with me such as my phone or my card. In the last month or so however all that has changed, partially because I haven't really been leaving my house.

I bought this set of cute pink sticky notepads on one of my countless overspending days that included little post-its with positive messages on and an A5 to-do list section. This was an attempt to motivate myself to actually do things, to no avail. That is until I was cleaning out my stationary drawer and found the set. I was adamant that this was going to be my brand new start and started using them to help me complete mundane tasks such as making my bed or tidying up. I found that it worked really well to help motivate me to get through tasks that I would normally just put-off until my mother yelled at me and I had a breakdown about it.
I then started applying the to-do list method to my work life. This integration was very smooth and I suddenly became dependant on writing things down in fear that I would forget and mess up my routine. I found that overall the method of writing things down before doing them made it so much easier to get my head around my day and not get overwhelmed, like I more often than not do.

Windows did a survey in the US that found out 73% of the people they asked said that the act of simply writing down their daily tasks helped them manage their stress and kept them calm.
Great retailers for to-do list templates/resources:
Etsy has some really cute designs and is super affordable (Plus a lot of the templates are available for digital download meaning you get to save some trees)!
Asana is an online tool that can help you organise your work life! If you're not so worried about aesthetics then this is the one for you.
Paperchase is great for practical but cute stationary and their to-do list selection is pretty impressive and affordable!
I really hope this can help you in your daily life, if it does then be sure to send me a message via the contact section on the website or find me on socials. I've also recently started using a 12-week planner so I'll let you guys know how that goes!
